transcript-lake sources

Discover supported transcript and hook stores and count candidate files.

Invocation#

sh
transcript-lake [--data-dir <path>] sources [--json]

Purpose#

Discover supported transcript and hook stores and count candidate files.

Inputs and options#

  • No positional input is required or accepted.
  • --json emits an array of source rows.
  • The runtime set comes from the installed build's adapter registry, plus hooks. The ingestion reference groups native stores by their line, whole-document, or database reading contract; the command reports the exact roots discovered on this machine.

Devin CLI discovery follows its native data-directory selection: a nonempty XDG_DATA_HOME selects $XDG_DATA_HOME/devin/cli; otherwise it uses ~/.local/share/devin/cli. The command reports that directory in the Devin row's roots when it exists and counts candidate native database files without modifying them.

Output and state effect#

Read-only. Emits one row per runtime with runtime, available, mode, roots, files, and optional error. A missing store is normal; the exit status is non-zero only when source enumeration recorded an error.

Exact refusals#

  • Any positional argument is refused as sources accepts flags only.
  • An unrecognized --wat is refused as unknown sources flag: --wat.
  • Repeating --json is refused as sources received duplicate --json.

All long flags are exact and single-use. A value flag never consumes another --flag. Global --data-dir may appear anywhere in the invocation, must appear once, and selects an absolute root.
