transcript-lake stats

Summarize recent Lake activity and token counters by runtime.

Invocation#

sh
transcript-lake [--data-dir <path>] stats [--days <n>] [--runtime <r>] [--json]

Purpose#

Summarize recent Lake activity and token counters by runtime.

Inputs and options#

  • --days <n> counts only the last n days; without it the whole Lake is counted.
  • --runtime <r> selects one of claude, codex, omp, droid, kimi, or hooks.
  • --json selects DuckDB JSON output.

Output and state effect#

Read-only. Groups the selected period by runtime and reports events, sessions, user/assistant/tool-call counts, input/output tokens, and first/last timestamps.

Exact refusals#

  • Invalid days: --days must be a whole number of at least one; omit it to count the whole Lake.
  • An unsupported runtime is refused as unknown source "bogus" (expected one of: claude, codex, omp, droid, kimi, jeden, …, aider, hooks; `transcript-lake sources` shows each with its roots on this machine), the list being every runtime of the adapter registry.
  • Any positional argument is refused as stats accepts flags only.
  • An unrecognized --wat is refused as unknown stats flag: --wat.
  • Repeating --json is refused as stats received duplicate --json.

All long flags are exact and single-use. A value flag never consumes another --flag. Global --data-dir may appear anywhere in the invocation, must appear once, and selects an absolute root.
