transcript-lake events

List the newest masked canonical events.

Invocation#

sh
transcript-lake [--data-dir <path>] events [--runtime <r>] [--session <id>] [--type <type>] [--limit <n>] [--json]

Purpose#

List the newest masked canonical events.

Inputs and options#

  • --runtime <r> accepts claude, codex, omp, droid, kimi, or hooks.
  • --session <id> and --type <type> are exact filters. Event type spelling is not prevalidated.
  • --limit <n> keeps the newest n; without it every matching event is listed. --json selects JSON output.

Output and state effect#

Read-only. Returns timestamps, runtime/session/project identity, event and tool/model fields, token counts, and the whole masked event text, newest first. An unknown event type safely returns no rows.

Exact refusals#

  • An unsupported runtime is refused as unknown source "bogus" (expected one of: claude, codex, omp, droid, kimi, jeden, …, aider, hooks; `transcript-lake sources` shows each with its roots on this machine), the list being every runtime of the adapter registry.
  • --limit must be a whole number of at least one; omit it to list every event.
  • Any positional argument is refused as events accepts flags only.
  • An unrecognized --wat is refused as unknown events flag: --wat.
  • Repeating --json is refused as events received duplicate --json.

All long flags are exact and single-use. A value flag never consumes another --flag. Global --data-dir may appear anywhere in the invocation, must appear once, and selects an absolute root.
